When you have more stoves and counters you can cook and serve more dishes. The more dishes you have, the better you can serve the customers. The better you serve the customers, the higher the buzz. The higher the buzz the more foot traffic, which means you make more coins. The more coins you get means you can cook more dishes, gain more CP and start the cycle all over again.
